Well I am back on the bike and stopped for lunch. I have gone about 30
miles but I have already gone through a gallon of liquids. With the
thermometer consistantly reading above 100 I think that might be it
for the day. It just isn't any fun biking when it is so incredibly hot
out.
Update: Went out to dinner and saw the same couple I met in VA a week and a half ago. It was nice to see a "familiar" face. We exchanged war stories and plans for the upcoming weeks (The dogs liked him too!)

I guess you and Cole Porter said it best. Save that bikimg for when the temperature is low. It's too darned hot. Take several showers to get your core temperature down and hydrate like crazy. Relax, refresh and refocus.

Hi Matt, Staci, here (Justin, Tyler, Corey's Aunt Staci, that is). YOU ARE THE MAN! I'm in awe of your journey thus far. I can't think of many people that would be as courageous as you have been, to undertake a journey of this magnitude. I've been following your progress these past few weeks. I continue to enjoy your father's inspirational (yet funny) quotes and can almost feel your mother's concern for your safety, as well as, her pride in your accomplishments thus far.

Stay Cool! "Pretty Woman" trying to keep up with daddy, very hard to do! Oh well, I am glad to hear you are taking your time. Like Uncle Joey said so what if it takes an extra week or two! Enjoy!
